In recent years a number of families of the victims of injustice have shown a remarkable determination to campaign for truth and accountability. The Civil Rights Movement was at a peak from 1955-1965. It officially started on December 1, 1955.Perhaps it started on the day in 1943 when a black seamstress paid her bus fare and then watched the bus drive off as she tried to re-enter through the rear door. Perhaps it started on the day in 1949 when a black professor absentmindedly sat at the front of a nearly empty bus, then ran off in tears when the bus driver screamed at her.Perhaps it started on the day in the 1950s when a black pastor tried to get other blacks to leave a bus in protest. Inspired by the example of people, fighting for their freedom, we have come together to build a new movement.

Our aim is to provide support for the victims of racial injustice, to promote family-based campaigns and to challenge the criminal justice system. The NCRM is a national-wide network of individuals and families.In particular we are committed to challenging the discriminatory criminal justice system and institutional racism in all forms.
We are independent of Government.Our network provides help in the questions linked with people's rights.We offer to you immediate effective and sustained practical and political support to all victims of disrespect of their rights. We believe that to be effective this struggle must be guided by individuals, families and communities directly affected. Membership is open to any individual who supports the aims of the organisation and pays the agreed subscription. The N.C.R.M. will accept affiliation, donations and support from organisations, but voting rights and membership rights will be solely on an individual basis.
